Marty Rice Ecoscaper Level I
Marty Rice, of the Twin Cities (MN) Chapter was the first to complete the requirements for Ecoscaper Level I, and received a certificate of completion along with the Ecoscaper Level I lapel pin. Marty said, "It seems a big step...to visualize what a partially or totally native yard would look like in a residential setting...how does one approach it and figure out the many other questions that are likely to arise? I think the Ecoscaper program provides some good direction and inspiration...especially for those of us with little to no formal background in landscaping, ecology, or related fields." |
Tim Lewis Ecoscaper Level I
Proud achiever of the Level I certificate, Tim Lewis, of the Rock River Valley (IL) Chapter, says, "Having achieved the first level of the Ecoscaper certification has given me a great deal of satisfaction in that I have learned a lot about Wild Ones and natural landscaping. It validates the several years that I have attended meetings and conferences to learn more. The more I learned, the more I wanted to know. Now it is my turn to teach others about natural landscaping, and I look forward to working on the next Ecoscaper level." |
